Stu Brooks is a two-time grammy nominated, Canadian born/Los Angeles-based bass player, producer, songwriter and founding member of the genre-bending band Dub Trio.

Stu is the touring bassist, guitarist and keyboard player for Nine Inch Nails.

Stu is bassist and co-producer for the multi-award winning filmscore composer and founder of Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman.  His work on the project includes producing collaborations with Trent Reznor, Ghostemane and Iggy Pop and executive producing over 20 remixes; collectively the deluxe album “Bigger Messier”. These remixes include collaborations with Squarepusher, Zach Hill of Death Grips, Machine Girl, Xiu Xiu, Einsterzende Neubauten, Health, Ghostemane, and more.

Stu is the bassist for Dominic Fike. He can be heard on tour and on the album “Sunburn”. He also appears as a duo with Dom on a number of special performances.

Stu is the touring bassist for VOWWS, and he has recently also performed live with Good Charlotte and Sublime. Stu is currently producing Perry Farrell’s upcoming solo album as well as playing bass for Kind Heaven Orchestra.
